179 #Mareep

Biology

Mareep is an ovine Pokémon with fluffy cream-colored wool all over its body and a curly tuft of wool in the center of its head. It has a blue head and black eyes. It has four blue feet with two fingers on each, and it looks to walk on tiptoe at all times. Its conical ears and tail are striped in yellow and black. Mareep’s tail features an orange spherical that functions as a little light bulb. The more energy this sphere contains, the brighter it lights.

Mareep’s wool stores electricity by rubbing together and accumulating a static charge. Its bulk grows as it accumulates electricity. Touching the charged wool will result in a static shock. The fleece is shed throughout the summer, but it grows back after a week. Air is also held in its fur, allowing it to keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It avoids conflicts in the wild and has a calm demeanor. Mareep is most often seen in grassy fields, but it may also be found on farms, where its wool is used to make high-quality apparel.
