Ampharos #181

Ampharos is a bipedal ovine Pokémon that is yellow with a white belly. It bears black lines on its conical ears and a crimson orb on its forehead. It has multiple black bands around its lengthy neck towards the base. It has stubby arms that resemble flippers and a single white nail on each foot. It has a long, black-striped tail that ends in a red orb. The orb on its tail may flash brightly enough to be observed from space. The light has been used as a beacon and to relay communications over the ocean. Ampharos is most often seen in grasslands, although it may also be found in farms with its pre-evolved relatives Mareep and Flaaffy.

As Mega Ampharos, its toes turn black and it regrows white wool at the back of its head and over its tail, having its genes stimulated by Mega Evolution. This energy also reawakens its dormant dragon blood. It has several little red orbs linked to its long woolly tail. Its conical ears are still striped, but they are now divided with swirling ends. The red orbs on its body and wool generate a bright glow as it raises the quantity of electrical energy inside itself.
