Hisuian Arcanine

Biology

Arcanine is a quadrupedal canine with an orange fur with jagged black stripes. It features diamond-shaped ears with beige interiors, black eyes, a circular, black nose, and two sharp teeth on its upper jaw. Except for two oval portions around each eye and ear, its head, nose, and chest are covered in shaggy, beige hair. Long fur tufts form behind its elbows and around its ankles. It features a black underside and a billowing, beige tail that is twisted in the center. Each paw has three toes and a pink pad on the bottom.

Arcanine is a courageous and loyal Pokémon. It can go 6,200 miles in 24 hours with the speed and elegance of a fighter jet. Extreme Speed was Generation II’s hallmark move. Anyone who hears Arcanine’s bark will grovel before it. The source of its power is a raging flame within its body. Arcanine is seldom encountered in the wild due to its development through Evolution stone, but when it is, it is generally seen living in prairies, while Pokémon Snap has also showed it residing near active volcanoes. It was revealed in the anime that it stores food in its mane and transports it to its nest for its offspring.

Arcanine has a somewhat distinct appearance in Hisui owing to the volcanic activity of its surroundings. Its body hair is red-orange, with gray muzzle, mane, tail, brows, and tufts of fur behind its elbows and around its ankles, and light gray insides of its ears. Igneous rock components are used to create the gray fur. It has curls on its cheek mane, ankle hair, and tail. It has elbow hair that looks like wings. It features a big horn in the middle of its head, as well as three little horns between its ears. It has curled clumps of mane at the rear of its neck and huge rectangular clumps on the sides and bottom of its neck. The rectangular bunches are marked with faint red-orange patterns.

Hisuian Arcanine snaps at enemies with its teeth when enveloped in flames. Despite its deceptive girth, Hisuian Arcanine dances with the grace of a dancer. This enables it to lead opponents on a wild pursuit while evading them.

The Hisui people revere a unique Hisuian Arcanine since it is one of the ten ancient Pokémon that got a blessing from Arceus. It is one of the Noble Pokémon that lives in Cobalt Coastlands and is guarded by a Warden.
