Biology
Beartic is an ursine, quadrupedal Pokémon capable of standing on its hind legs. Its fur is bluish-white with a shaggy tuft at the back. Three ice spikes create a beard from its lower jaw. It has a long snout, beady black eyes, and rounded ears on its face. It has black claws and paw pads on its huge forepaws.
Beartic is capable of freezing its own breath and will use this mechanism to make trails over the water. Beartic will use its breath to freeze the water it is swimming in if it becomes weary while swimming, allowing it to lie down and rest. Its icy breath can generate ice fangs and claws, the former of which is tougher than steel. It lives in northern places, where it hunts food in chilly waters. It competes for territory with Mamoswine in Lental.
