Bellossom #182

Biology

Bellossom is a green blooming plant Pokémon with round blue eyes and scarlet cheek marks. It has two brilliant red Rafflesia-like blooms on its head and green and yellow leaves that mimic a skirt around its waist, giving it the appearance of a hula dancer. Bellossom’s petals are considered to be more lovely when the perfume of the Gloom it came from deteriorates. It makes a pleasant sound as it rubs the petals on its head together. Bellossom lacks feet; in the anime, its center-most leaves bowed as it prepared to leap, implying that it utilizes its leaves as replacements for feet or legs. However, it is classified as a biped in the Pokédex.

Bellossom is often seen chanting and dancing. Bellossom dances in especially when the weather is gloomy or after the heavy rain season finishes and it is brought out by the warm sunshine. Bellosom, the outcome of an evolution through Evolution stone, is seldom encountered in the wild, yet it may be found on grassy plains and is more abundant in the tropics.

The Pokemon Bellossom is one of the numerous monsters that may be captured in Pokemon Go. See the conditions for evolving a Gloom into a Bellossom here. Bellossom is from Johto’s second generation and was included in the February 16, 2017 update.
