Strong Stuff – Completing 4th part
- Bewear and its pre-evolution are the only Pokémon evolution family to make their Pokémon GO debut in a Community Day.
Bewear is a black and pink Pokémon that looks like a bipedal bear. It has black legs and a black front, with a pink head, back, and tail. A white band runs across the top of its head, with two tufts of fur on either end. This white marking provides the impression that it is wearing a headband with ornamental bear ears. It features a short white snout, a black nose, and two little black eyes. Pink paw pads include the palm and three digital pads of its front paws. On the front of the hind paws are three white digital pads. It has a short tail that is ringed with dark pink.
While Bewear seems to be a nice Pokémon, it is really an extremely deadly Pokémon, thought to be the most dangerous in Alola. It should never be approached recklessly, even if it is only flailing its arms about in a friendly manner as a warning. It expresses love with a warm embrace, yet its embraces are quite powerful. Trainers of this Pokémon must educate it to control its emotions while exhibiting love. Its embraces are strong enough to break bones. Many Trainers are known to have fled the planet after being hugged by Bewear. Bewear subdues its victim with its arms before returning it to its nest. Bewear are known to hibernate in Lental at times when food is limited.
