Biology

Blissey is a huge, ovoid Pokémon with a pink upper body and a white bottom body. On each side of its skull, it possesses hair-like curls. Its hips and shoulders are covered in white, wing-like tufts that give the appearance of a garment. It has pink stubby limbs and feet with no fingers. If consumed, a little, pink pouch on its abdomen houses a single egg that delivers emotions of pleasure and makes a person pleasant and compassionate.

The egg may encourage a human to begin treating others with kindness and can soothe even the most fierce Pokémon. Eating a Blissey’s egg is thought to bring good luck to people who eat it. Blissey’s egg has the greatest market value. Blissey can detect grief with its fluffy fur and will run to anybody who is unhappy or unwell to try to nurture them back to health. Blissey is supposed to be filled of love. Blissey is a female-only species that does not have a male equivalent. It is a city Pokémon that is seldom spotted in the wild. If the player is harmed in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, any nearby Blissey will approach to help treat them and then escape after they’re completely recovered.

Blissey and its pre-evolved versions are the only Pokémon known to be able to learn the move Soft-Boiled via leveling up.
