Boldore #525
Biology
Boldore is a blue, rock-like Pokémon with a spine extending from between its yellow ears and an assortment of red crystals on its back and front. Pincer-like limbs made of rocky pieces on its sides are topped with crimson crystals identical to those on its back. Its orange crystals, strong enough to shatter diamonds, are the solidified manifestation of its endlessly seeping energy.
When Boldore starts to brim with strength or prepares to discharge bursts of energy, his crystals glow brilliantly. Boldore is sought for their crystals because they are precious, with a piece capable of powering a hundred dump trucks. It looks for subterranean water in the caverns where it lives, but since it is afraid of water, it is constantly cautious about drinking it. A healthy Boldore will always have its core poking out. Because it relies on sound to determine what is around, it constantly faces the same direction, never shifting diagonally; even when provoked, it will strike while looking in its original direction.
