Biology
Cacturne is a humanoid, bipedal Pokémon that looks like a cactus scarecrow. Its face features two eye openings that show yellow eyes and six smaller holes that show a grinning mouth. It has spikes all the way down its limbs, legs, and around its neck. A green rhombi design runs along the front of its body. A female has a huge dark green rhombus on top of a smaller one, but a male has three little dark green rhombuses. On its head is a triangular, dark green feature that resembles a cap with spiky points.
Cacturne is a nocturnal Pokémon that does not move much during the day, allowing it to retain moisture. It hunts for prey at night or pursues passengers until they are weary. Needle Arm was its hallmark move prior to Generation V. It has been living in deserts for so long that its blood has turned to sand.
