Celebi is a fairy-like green Pokémon. It has three-fingered hands, circular toeless feet, and transparent wings on its back. It features a circular head with a bent tip. It features a pair of green antennae with blue ends and huge baby-blue eyes with thick black rings surrounding them.
Celebi is a Mythical Pokémon that is often spotted in woods and is renowned in mythology as the “Voice of the Forest.” It has the ability to move across time and exist at the same time, and plant life thrives wherever it has been. It is capable of resurrecting Celebi and restoring plants to perfect health, as shown in the anime. Celebi has the power to cure wounds as well. Celebi has the ability to instantaneously induce the Purification of any Shadow Pokémon and may be called at Relic Forest with the melody of a Time Flute, as demonstrated in Pokémon Colosseum.
Celebi, although residing in woods as its guardian, only appears in regions and times of calm. It is believed that as long as Celebi are visible around the globe, the Pokémon world will have a successful and happy future. As revealed in the anime, it can detect temporal anomalies in their present timeframe and transport them back to their original timeline. Celebi has been called a woodland god.
