Biology
Chatot is an avian Pokémon that looks like a parakeet. It has a black head that looks like an eighth note, and a black tail that looks like a metronome. It has brilliantly colorful plumage, including blue wings, yellow breast and feet, a green tummy, and a pink, hooked beak and eyelids. It also has a ruff of white feathers around its neck.
The tongue of this Pokémon is comparable to that of a human, enabling it to mimic human speech. Chatot can also imitate the screams of other Pokémon, which he employs as a defensive tactic. Chatot organizes the sounds it has learnt into its own song and flicks its tail to maintain time. Chatot can comprehend the meaning of the phrases they imitate as they become older and more experienced.
Chatot is the only Pokémon known to be capable of learning the move Chatter.
