Biology

Clauncher is a crustacean Pokémon with the appearance of a brilliant blue shrimp. It has three pairs of light gray legs, two with basic blue spikes and the first with a bigger set of claws. One claw has a single, sharp tip, while the other is considerably broader and has a conventional pincer with a little yellow claw. A black line runs across the top of each front claw. It has three pointed mandibles and three yellow antennas on top of its head. It has three black stripes along its back that divide its body into parts, and its underside is light gray. Its tail is made up of two black, rectangular fins.

Clauncher’s huge claw causes it to lose balance and makes swimming straight difficult. It moves instead by blasting pressurized water from its claw. This is accomplished by controlled gas expulsions from inside the body. This skill is also used to shoot down soaring prey and break rock at close range. When its claws fall off, it maintains a low profile until they grow back. The flesh within its claws is believed to be tasty, making it a favorite delicacy in locations such as Galar.

Best moveset for Clauncher

When fighting Pokémon in Gyms, Clauncher’s greatest moves are Water Gun and Crabhammer. This moveset has the most overall DPS and is also the finest for PVP encounters.
