Biology
Claydol is a big, black Pokémon with two stubby legs that resembles a mud statue. It features a spherical, oblate-shaped head with a peg-like protrusion from the middle of its top. Many spherical, pink eye-like features alternate with yellow studs or beak-like protrusions around the circumference of its head. The top margins of the eyes have an undulating white ring. It has white ring marks on its body, each with a downward extension and a yellow dot in the center. Two smaller spheres rest at its sides like limbs, and each orb has a peg-like protrusion capable of shooting numerous energy beams. These two orbs are not linked to its body, but are maintained nearby by Claydol’s psychic abilities. Claydol moves and floats in the air using the same telekinetic skills. It prefers hard ground.
Claydol has a body that melts when wet and utilizes psychic abilities to shield itself from rain. It was supposed to have begun as an old clay figure 20,000 years ago, constructed by ancient humans who shaped it after something that dropped from the sky.
Pokemon Claydol – Number 344 in the Pokedex after three generations… He lives in the Hohenn area and is of the psychic and earth kind. This is the last stage of Pokémon Baltoy’s evolution.
