Biology

Cofagrigus is a blue and yellow sarcophagus-like Pokémon with crimson, terrifying eyes and four shadowy ebony hands. Yamask’s “forehead” has a simple designed face, which serves as the mask he wears. When it is functioning, sections that slide open conceal up its true face. A mocking grin is created by white, pointed teeth, and extravagant designs cover the coffin. The casket is supposed to be constructed entirely of gold.

Cofagrigus, according to ancient traditions, could lock surrounding persons in their bodies and convert them into mummies; tomb robbers who mistake them for conventional coffins suffer this fate. Cofagrigus is supposed to have formerly been human, but has now lost its memories. They also like to consume gold nuggets. It may be found in graves and ruins, waiting for victims. Cofagrigus has been employed as a metaphor for the prosperity of bygone rulers.
