  • Cosmoem can be acquired by evolution only.

Cosmoem is a Pokémon that resembles a transparent, dark-blue sphere with a starscape design encased in a golden shell-like structure. The primary body of the shell is a flat oval that wraps around the orb’s center. In an asterisk pattern, eight additional flat, half-oval projections surround the orb. A considerably smaller black core is located in the middle of the main body. On the front, rear, and each side of the top half of the core, there is a faint blue line, while the bottom half contains pink lines. Two orange semicircles on the front look to be closed eyes. This Pokémon’s general form is similar to that of an eye.

Cosmoem is immobile because it is encased in a strong, cocoon-like shell. It can’t even eat in Pokémon Refresh. It expands as it collects starlight and airborne particles. It has a warm body to the touch. The shell of Cosmoem is reported to be tougher than any known substance. The inhabitants of Alola worshiped it as the “cocoon of the stars” in ancient times.

Cosmoem is one of the world’s shortest Pokémon. Despite this, it is the heaviest Pokémon on the planet, along with Celesteela.
