Dartrix is an avian Pokémon that looks like an owl. The majority of its plumage is white, including its heart-shaped face disc, but it has dark brown feathers on its head, shoulders, and back. Its huge eyes have black irises and are normally closed. It also has a small beak with a white top jaw and an orange-brown lower jaw, as well as a few feather tufts on the back of its head. Two green leaves form an asymmetric incision across its face; the leaf on the right is longer than the one on the left. Two smaller leaves under its chin resemble a bowtie, while two pointed ones on its back create its tail. It has two tan markings on the top side of its wings and leafy plumage near to the body on the underside. Blade quills are two sharp orange-brown feathers found among the leaves under its wings. Dartrix has orange-brown talons with two forward and one backward toes.
This alert Pokémon may fire attacks on unseen adversaries behind it since it is sensitive to the presence of people around it. It launches its razor quills with incredible accuracy towards opponents or prey. It can even change the course of its attacks by bending the feathers. Dartrix is a narcissistic bird that spends a lot of time brushing its feathers to keep its beauty. This tendency causes it to lose concentration when its plumage is ruffled or soiled, and it will even retire from combat to preen. It has been characterized as a bit of a birdbrain since it has a propensity to make errors; when it does, it sometimes attempts to cover it up, which makes matters worse. Dartrix will be able to gain full strength if a Trainer assists it through this challenging period of its existence. Dartrix, on the other hand, will refuse to listen to a Trainer who does not carefully assist it with grooming.
Dartrix in Hisui prefers to expose itself to sunlight in order to acquire power, owing to the region’s frigid environment. Dartrix becomes more robust as a consequence of the tough environment as it develops into Hisuian Decidueye, receiving the Fighting type instead of the Ghost type.
