Dwebble is a little, orange hermit crab with big pincers. It has black, oval-shaped eyes that are held aloft by eye stalks. It possesses a hook-like tail that is hidden behind the sectioned block of gray granite that serves as its shell. It shares the distinction of being the shortest Rock-type with Minior and Carbink.
When Dwebble finds a rock to use as its shell, it inspects it to determine whether it can be utilized, then drills a hole in the rock’s bottom. It may eject a caustic spray from its mouth to aid in the carving of such a hole or to repair its shell. If the rock breaks, Dwebble will not stop until it finds a replacement. Because of its constant hunt for appropriate rocks, it is a natural foe of Roggenrola and Rolycoly. If it can’t locate a living rock, it travels into the ports of a Hippowdon, where it dislodges any trapped stones in exchange for the Hippowdon taking care of the homeless Dwebble.
