Electivire is a giant humanoid Pokémon with yellow fur and black stripes. It lacks a neck and has crimson eyes, a black patch on its forehead, and a pair of bulbous antennae. Electivire’s back has a design that mimics an electrical outlet. It has spiky and ruffled fur on its face and shoulders. It features two black tails with rounded crimson tips that look like open electrical lines. Electivire has three clawed toes on each foot and five black fingers on each hand.

Electivire has the most electrical energy output of any Electric-type Pokémon. Electivire is notorious for being dangerously cavalier when it comes to hostile assaults. The tips of its tails create electricity, which shocks opponents with nearly 20,000 volts when they come into touch with them. By holding its tails, it can also electrify its fists. As its electric charge increases, blue sparks shoot between its antennas. When it is aroused, it thumps its chest, causing thunder and sparks to shoot around it. When it is struggling, the voltage it produces might grow. The quantity of electric energy it can generate is determined by Electivire’s pulse. Electivire is often powered by electric currents. Electivire has been shown in the anime eating fruits from trees. A single Electivire may power a major metropolis for an entire year.
