Exeggutor is a tall, bipedal Pokémon that looks like a coconut or palm tree. It has a light brown body and legs with thin black rings, and its legs are thick with two-toed feet. Each foot has a pale yellow paw pad on the underside. It sprouts thin, green leaves from the top of its body. Exeggutor has three spherical, bright yellow heads that look like coconuts and each has a distinct facial expression.

Exeggutor's heads think separately and don't seem to be interested in one another, therefore each head shouts loudly. They seem to get along, though, since they never argue amongst themselves. If all of its heads wish to travel in a separate direction, its body is immobile. They can also converse telepathically, which they occasionally utilize to reach a conclusion. It fights using mental abilities, and since all three heads are competent, its potency is quadrupled. If one of these heads becomes too huge, it falls off and joins with others to form an Exeggcute. Exeggutor has been seen in groups of its own type in the anime, indicating that it is not a lonely Pokémon. Exeggutor has been dubbed “The Walking Jungle.” Due to the absence of sunshine on gloomy days, it might be slow. Exeggutor is scarce in the wild due to its development through Evolution stone, however it may be found in woods and jungles.

The Exeggutor that live in the Alola region grow five times taller than those in other regions due to the abundance of sunlight. The Alolan Exeggutor's neck is thinner and much longer, resembling a coconut tree or tropical palm tree more than its Kantonian counterpart, which resembles a shorter desert palm. It has two leaves on its long, tapering tail and a fourth pale green head on the tip. This second head can also protect the rear on its own. [1] The tail can survey the surrounding surroundings using mild telepathy. It can use its long neck as a whip to attack enemies with its hard head. However, its neck might be a weak spot since swinging it about causes dizziness. Its increased height has reduced its need for psychic defense and instead awakened its draconic powers, resulting in a weakening of its psychic powers. This Pokémon has been depicted in ancient carvings and murals. It is the tallest and heaviest Grass-type due of its additional height. Dragon Hammer was its signature move in Generation VII.

Exeggutor and its pre-evolved form, Exeggcute, are the only Pokémon known to know the move Barrage.
