Biology Info

Farfetch’d is a bird Pokémon with a light brown body and a white underbelly. It has a flat, yellow beak, brown eyes, a V-shaped black marking on the top of its head (akin to a unibrow), and a three-feather crest. Its wings are as large as its body and seem prehensile enough to serve as hands. It has yellow legs, webbed feet, and a short tail.

Farfetch’d is usually seen with a leek stalk or a spring onion in his hand. It holds this sprig on its wings, although it may also carry it in its beak or foot. Farfetch’d, unable to live without its stick, will protect it with its life. Farfetch’d may become vulnerable if the stalk is lost, and it will search for a new one to replace it. The stick has been known to be used as a weapon, nesting material, and emergency food source. Farfetch’d holds the stalk and cuts through everything with it like a sword while attacking. Farfetch’d’s leek may be used in a variety of battle methods. It is picky about the sticks it uses and has been known to fight over the best ones. Farfetch’d may be found in temperate grasslands where reedy plants flourish, protecting them from intruders. Farfetch’d, on the other hand, is seldom spotted, and its numbers are said to be diminishing, putting it at danger of extinction. Humans hunted it down for food, according to sources such as the anime and the Pocket Monsters Encyclopedia; one famous recipe advised frying it with its own leek. There have been breeding initiatives to enhance the Farfetch’d population.

Farfetch’d has a somewhat different appearance in Galar. Galarian Farfetch’d is a darker brown with a larger black mark on its head. In Galar, the leek it carries on its wings is significantly bigger than the leeks Farfetch would utilize in other places.

Its body has grown a considerably stronger structure, which allows it to carry its leek. Farfetch’d, on the other hand, finds it difficult to fly because to its enormous size. It is known for its bravery in combat, and its leeks may be used as swords or javelins. Galarian Farfetch’d has the opportunity to evolve into Sirfetch’d after surviving and enduring several fights.

Farfetch’d and its Galarian evolved version are the only Pokémon known to be able to use the Leek item.

Generation 1 Pokemon Farfetch #83 Pokemon Pokedex… He lives in the Kanto area and is a Pokémon of the normal and flying types. Farfetch’d does not have an evolution stage.
