Genesect is a bipedal insectoid Pokémon with a saucer-shaped head and a metal body. It’s mostly purple with some gray patterns. It features two huge red eyes and a little white section that might represent its mouth or a vent. It has long, slender arms with overlapping segments. Each arm has a single, pointed claw that can spin a sticky thread to build buildings. Each shoulder has a gray circle and a gray band across its midsection. Each of its segmented legs has a huge, upward-curving claw.

The genesect spins silk.

The massive cannon on its back, as well as other upgrades, were incorporated as part of Team Plasma’s alterations. Genesect is the only Pokémon known to be capable of learning the move Techno Blast, an attack that changes type based on the Drive it has. Even before Team Plasma altered Genesect, it was feared as the most powerful hunter. By folding its limbs and linking its head to the cannon on its back, Genesect may transform into a flying saucer and fly. This is known as the high-speed flying configuration in Japanese.

Team Plasma recovered Genesect from a Fossil and scientifically improved it to produce the most powerful Pokémon ever.

N ordered the experiment terminated and the P2 Laboratory closed because he believed that modifying Pokémon, which he considered to be ideal creatures, would diminish their beauty. Scientist Dudley, on the other hand, remained working on it, enraged that N had dismissed his potential. This scientist rebuilt Genesect and mounted the weapon on its back.
