Biology

Gigalith is a blue, quadrupedal Pokémon, with different spiky, crystal-like red characteristics protruding out of its body. Its limbs have gray joints and are capped with red crystalline characteristics, with similar features on the two claws on each leg. Inside each ear, it bears a crimson eye. Several of the crystalline characteristics are present on its face; three below its eyes, one in the centre like a crest, and additional crystals to the sides of its skull.

Gigalith compresses energy in its center, enabling it to launch strikes strong enough to sweep mountains away. The sheer intensity of the explosion generates several fractures on its body when it fires these assaults at full capacity. It can also store sunlight in its orange crystals, multiply it inside its body, and launch massive energy balls from its mouth that can smash dump trucks, albeit this ability is lost at night or during rain. It dwells deep below in caves and tunnels. Gigalith is a tough Pokémon with a lot of strength that is a favorite of construction workers and miners. It collaborates with Copperajah on building projects and mines in Galar.

Gigalith was released along with the release of Trade Evolution on January 10^th, 2020.
Shiny form of Gigalith was released at the start of Unova Week on August 14^th, 2020.

Best moveset for Gigalith

When fighting Pokémon in Gyms, Gigalith’s greatest moves are Smack Down and Meteor Beam. This moveset has the most overall DPS and is also the finest for PVP encounters.
