Girafarig #203

Biology

Girafarig is a quadrupedal, hooved giraffine Pokémon with a long neck. A white blaze runs down its snout, ending in a round, pink nose. On top of its skull, it possesses two ossicones with bulbous tips. It has a yellow front half with brown dots and a brown rear half with yellow spots. Female Girafarig have a smaller brown portion than male Girafarig. Its back is covered with triangular pink spikes.

The tail of Girafarig has its own head. The head of the tail is yellow, with sharp teeth and a small brain. This head, however, is incapable of independent thought and relies on external stimuli such as smell to guide its actions. If the tail detects an enticing scent, it will bite. During feeding, the tail frequently mimics the head and can warn the Pokémon of danger if it is sleeping. Girafarig is a plant-eating girafarig that lives in savannas and grasslands.
