Biology
Groudon is a gigantic, bipedal, dinosaur-like Pokémon with armor made of crimson, segmented plates of thick skin. It has a gray underbelly with big white spikes running down the sides of its head, body, and tail. Groudon has four claws on each hand, four dozer-like blades on the end of its long tail, and three claws on each foot with gray patterns underneath. It also features blue stripes within its armor plate seams that can only be seen when Groudon is shining with power.
Primal Groudon resembles Groudon in appearance but is greater in size. Its skin turns from dark red to deep crimson, while its underbelly, spikes, and teeth become black. Its tail blades are more distanced from one another. The emblem is now shown on its arms. Its eyes, the interior of its mouth, and the newly expanded apertures between its armor plating are all brilliant yellow, and its irises are crimson. The energy that fills Primal Groudon erupts as lava, and it burns at such high temperatures that its body shimmers with the cloud of its heat. [1] Primal Groudon is believed to produce fresh territory with each stride it makes in the anime.
Groudon is a very strong Pokémon, capable of summoning harsh droughts and causing volcanic explosions. It may drain water by causing droughts, and it can produce land by summoning volcanic eruptions. It rests below in massive magma chambers. If it comes into contact with its adversary, Kyogre, they will engage in a devastating fight.
Groudon is the only Pokémon known to be able to learn the move Precipice Blades.
