Biology

Growlithe is a canine quadruped Pokémon. Its fur is orange with black stripes down its back and legs. It has beige hair on its nose, breast, belly, and tail, as well as a tuft of fur on top of its head. Growlithe has a larger coat on its chest and tail. Gray eyes, a black nose, and wide, round and triangular ears with beige interiors characterize it. It has two visible claws on its forepaws and three toes on each of its rear paws. A brown pad covers each paw.

Growlithe is a loving and loyal Pokémon that will bravely protect its Trainer and territory against bigger, stronger opponents. It has been known to battle with Rockruff for territory in particular. It will attack, bite, and drive away any perceived danger. Otherwise, this faithful Pokémon will remain immobile until a command is provided. It has a long relationship with humans, as shown by the discovery of its bones in Stone Age sites. Growlithe is typically found on grassy plains in the wild.

Growlithe also has a keen sense of smell. If it smells an unfamiliar odor in its area, it roars to drive the invader away. It can detect other people’s emotions and never forgets a fragrance. Strong, unpleasant odors, on the other hand, may temporarily block Growlithe’s sense of smell, as shown in the anime.

Growlithe’s fur in Hisui is dark orange-red, with a light gray mane and tail and a light tan nose. Igneous rock components are used to create the fur. It has a mane that covers its eyes and reaches below its head, finishing with three curls. The inside of its ears are pale orange-red and spherical. It has a little horn on top of its head and a curling tail.

Hisuian Growlithe’s silky, insulating fur helps it to endure Hisui’s chilly weather. Growlithe seldom uses its horn unless absolutely necessary since it is easily shattered. When protecting territory, a pair of Hisuian Growlithe is known to be alert. Because they have been separated from humans for many years, Hisuian Growlithe take significantly longer to connect with them. Growlithe’s Hisuian shape is the consequence of its environment being exposed to volcanic action during Hisui’s ancient periods.
