Gyarados #130

Gyarados is a Pokémon that lives in water and has a serpentine body covered in slightly overlapping scales. It features a blue body with a yellow underside and a row of yellow dots along each side. It has a wide, gaping mouth with four pointed fangs and yellow lips. On either side of its face, it features one barbel and a little white fin. Female barbels are white, whereas male barbels are blue. It features tiny red eyes, a dark blue three-pointed crest on its head, and four white, spiky dorsal fins. The structure of Gyarados’ tail fin is identical to the crest on its head, save for a thin, white fin distributed between the tips.

The process of evolution creates a change in its brain structure, which is thought to be the source of its aggressive disposition. Gyarados’ teeth are strong enough to shatter stones, and its scales are as hard as steel. Gyarados has long been feared for its ferocious temper and its destructive inclinations. Gyarados is known as the “deity of devastation” in certain areas because of this. It manifests itself at times of strife and damages the surrounding surroundings. Its rampages have been known to last up to a month. Even during a severe storm, these rampages are possible. Gyarados’ anger will not abate until everything is destroyed. Some thought that if a Gyarados appeared, any location would be destroyed. Gyarados may be found in both fresh and salt water. Gyarados and its Mega form have both proved in the anime that they can jump enormous lengths between the water to the land, generally many times their own body length. Gyarados, on the other hand, is seldom encountered in the wild. Gyarados is typically connected with the move Hyper Beam since it is strong enough to instantaneously demolish whatever it strikes.

Gyarados grows bulkier when it Mega Evolves. The fins on its cheeks become longer and golden in color. Its crest becomes thicker and blacker, and its barbels grow much longer. A big spike extends downward behind its chin, and its underside is now black with a crimson stripe around the borders. Mega Gyarados’ yellow patches are replaced with elevated red scales that drive it through the water. On its back, it has two huge yellow fins with blue spines. The majority of the other fins on its back vanish, replaced with two rows of blue spikes. Near its tail, it now has four yellowish, spiky fins: two on its back and two on its underbelly.

The strain Mega Evolution puts on a Gyarados’s body causes it to become even more vicious than previously. Except for the destructive impulse to burn everything to cinders, all other brain processes halt when Mega Evolution begins. Despite its brain’s overwhelming destructive urge, it will follow a Trainer in whom it has complete confidence. Mega Gyarados can launch at Mach Speed by releasing water from both sides of its orifices. With this speed, it has the power to break big ships in half. Mega Gyarados shares the title of tallest Dark-type with Hoopa Unbound.

Gyarados is one of the numerous captureable Pokemon in Pokemon GO.

Gyarados have a slight possibility of becoming shiny beginning with the Water Festival Event in March 2017. If you develop a shiny Magikarp into a Gyarados, it will retain its luster.
