Hakamo-o #783
Biology
Hakamo-o is a reptile biped with multiple scaly plates. The majority of its body is light gray, while its arms and legs are dark gray. It features angular, red eyes, a rounded, beak-like nose with a little spike on each side of the upper jaw that looks like teeth, and two small scales on either side of its skull. A line of three slightly elevated scales runs down the middle of its breast, while a corresponding line of four scales runs down its back. Several gray scales that are somewhat elevated overlap its shoulders. A little, white feather crest sits between its shoulders and on either side of its head. Each appendage features three yellow claws and a long, tapering tail.
This Pokémon’s body is covered with scale plates. There’s a yellow one on its brow, which is oval and has a light yellow heart-shaped line across the centre. The front of its neck is covered in two circular scales that are pale yellow with darker borders. Three overlapping scales cover the tops of its arms. The first two arm scales are gray with yellow trim, while the third and largest scale is red with yellow accent. A little, round scale may be seen at the tip of its tail. This final scale begins pale yellow and progresses to a deeper yellow.
This Pokémon departs from its companions to begin training on its own and may be found anywhere there are opponents to battle. When it encounters an opponent, it dances and clangs its scales together to demonstrate its might. This violent dance concludes with a daring battle cry. Because its scales function as armor, it may attack its opponent without concern for its own protection. Many of its scales are ripped off or shattered as a result of its combat technique. Hakamo-o regards its damaged armor and naked arms as evidence of a well-fought battle and proudly wears them. [1] However, the scale quickly regrows, becoming tougher and sharper than before. Because its scale conducts heat effectively, shed ones are often fashioned into pots and pans.
