Biology
Jangmo-o is a little, quadrupedal Pokémon that looks like a dinosaur. Its bottom half is black, while the top part is light gray. It features a beak-like nose and large, crimson eyes, as well as a tiny, tooth-like spike in each corner of its lower jaw. A huge, heart-shaped yellow scale covers the front of its skull. On each side of its head, a little tuft akin to ears or small feathers spreads, and there is another small, white tuft on its breast. Six loose-hanging teardrop-shaped scales create a half ring around its shoulders. These scales are gray with a soft yellow border around the perimeter. On the tip of its tail is a solid yellow scale of the same form. It has three golden claws on each of its feet.
Jangmo-o possesses the pride of a warrior while training rigorously and being modest. It uses the scale on its forehead for both assault and defense, never turning its back on its adversary. Many Trainers see this conduct as evidence of this Pokémon’s bravery. Jangmo-o lives and trains with other Pokémon in tough environments distant from other Pokémon and humans. When hit, the scales on its body emit a metallic sound and are used to show emotion, communicate with other creatures of its type, and threaten opponents.
