Biology

Jellicent is a huge jellyfish-like Pokémon that changes in appearance depending on gender. Both sexes have five tentacles, two of which are lengthy and have petal-like tips. The other three are short and tapered. A man is blue with a short, white crown and a white collar that resembles a mustache. It has crimson eyes with blue sclerae and one eyelash above each eye. It has white margins on its long tentacles and white specks on its short tentacles. A female has a pink body, a large white crown, and a puffy white collar. It has blue eyes with crimson sclerae that are ringed by two eyelashes. It has a crimson heart-shaped mouth. The long tentacles, like the male, have white borders, whereas the smaller ones have white frills.

Jellicent has the ability to absorb saltwater and project it from its head, allowing it to move ahead in the sea. Jellicent’s bodily composition is comparable to that of saltwater. During a full moon, schools of Jellicent are known to congregate in search of prey. It is said that it draws elegant cruise ships, tankers, or staff into the waters where it resides and preys on their passengers. It can build lairs out of sunken ships. It is said to feed on life energy, and the more it consumes, the larger its crown grows. Fishermen are terrified of jellicent.
