Jolteon #135

Jolteon is a mammalian quadruped Pokémon. It has yellow fur on its body, a spiky fringe around its tail, and a white ruff around its neck. It has huge, pointed ears with black interiors, as well as dark eyes and a short snout. It has slim legs and little paws with three toes and a pink paw pad on each.

Jolteon’s prickly fur is comprised of electrically charged needles that emit negatively charged ions when it moves, making a sparking noise. It also possesses an electrical-generating organ in its lungs, and when Jolteon exhales, you can frequently hear crackles of electricity. Static energy in its fur increases the low-level electricity produced by its cells, allowing it to fire 10,000-volt lightning bolts. When excited or frightened, Jolteon may also hurl charged needles of fur at adversaries; the charge is so intense that it can linger on the needles for a long time. Trainers are most often encountered with this Pokémon in cities and towns. However, because to its high-strung personality and proclivity for mood swings, it may be difficult to train.

Note on Evolution:Eevee will generally develop at random into one of its three forms. There is a technique to choose its development just once.
You may name your Eevee Pyro (Flareon), Rainer (Vaporeon), or Sparky to choose which form it will develop into (Jolteon). This is an Easter Egg referencing the original anime series’ Eevee Brothers. It is important to note that you must use a capital initial letter and lower case names (so, “Pyro”, not “pyro”).
Note: Your name decision must be recorded on the Pokemon Go server; if you have a terrible connection, we suggest closing and restarting the app after naming your Eevee to ensure the data makes it across before evolving it.
