Biology
Landorus is an orange, strong humanoid Pokémon that resembles a genie in Incarnate Forme. There is no female equivalent to this species. Three pointy, pink horns are positioned in an upwards arch on its forehead. Landorus has white hair on top of its head fashioned like a small log, a jagged white mustache, and two pointed orange ears on each side of its skull. It has golden eyes with beady white irises and no discernible pupils. Landorus’s face is covered in dark pink dots, the majority of which are shaped like diamonds, pebbles, and magatamas. It has a large chest with two linked diamond-shaped pectorals, shoulders and elbows with magatama forms, and a teardrop on top of its navel, all of which are dark pink. It has two speckled strong arms, each with five fingers. It has a trailing cloud for a lower body and a long, curling, brown branch or root-like tail. Landorus’ tail has many flat protrusions that run the length of it, each with a dark pink patch on its edge surface.
Landorus is an orange, slim, quadrupedal Pokémon with feline traits in Therian Forme. Its horns are now thinner and closer together in a downward arch on its head. While its hair stays the same, its mustache has evolved into a fanged maw-like shape, snaking around its head to behind its ears, which have shrunk and rounded. Its eyes are still yellow, but with enlarged irises and no apparent pupils. Its chest remains large and unaltered, and its navel is set with a beige diamond. Landorus has dark pink stripes on its back and lower legs, and dark pink magatama patterns on its biceps and triceps. It has four cloud-covered paws with three keen dark pink claws apiece. Its tail is mostly unaltered.
Landorus is known as the “Guardian of the Fields” because he aids with agricultural growth. It was known as the deity of fields in Hisui because it, together with Enamorus, brought life to the land. Its tail provides nourishment to the earth. The tail’s energy is formed by mixing lightning and wind. Landorus seems to reside above the clouds. It sometimes pauses at the Abundant Shrine in the Unova or Hisui regions, but only when Tornadus and Thundurus are there. Landorus can also halt and calm the two Forces of Nature whenever they collide or inflict havoc, earning him the title “Great Landorus” from the thankful people. It is also known as the god of fields since it always arrives in Therian Forme, generally after Tornadus and Thundurus have been stopped. It may traverse a whole area, such as Hisui, in a matter of hours. Landorus can defend himself by unleashing micro sandy whirlwinds and enclosing himself with a cloud shield.
Landorus is the only Pokémon known to be able to learn the move Sandsear Storm.
