Biology
Latios is a Pokémon with a bird-like physique that has been styled to seem like an aircraft. It has a hefty look because its body flows slowly towards a large neck. It has no legs and normally floats. The majority of its body is blue, with white spots near its arms and a white stripe running from its back to its head. It has jet-plane wings on top of its back, and two towering, jagged fins point behind it from the back. A red triangle indicates the middle of its chest, while a blue mask covers part of its face. It has crimson eyes and long, ear-like fins that stretch from its mouth to above its head. It features three-fingered arms with a blue coating on the lower arms’ outer sides. Latios is a male-only species, whereas Latias is the female.
The blue sections of Mega Latios’s body become purple. Horns sprout from the side of its skull and go down the length of its jaw. It loses its rear wings, and comparable but bigger wings connect to its lower limbs, which are generally maintained level. Instead of marking its chest, triangle shapes now designate the forward tip of its wings.
Tucking in its arms allows Latios to fly faster than a jet.
In the sixth film, Latios had the “Sight Sharing” (Japanese: Dream Analysis) ability, which let Latios and others around him to see precisely what Latios was experiencing.
Oakley also said that it has the ability to shape-shift. It favors tender Trainers to whom it exposes its heart. It can comprehend human speech and utilizes telepathy to identify locations and emotions of people. It is found at the water’s edge.
Latios is the only Pokémon known to be capable of learning the move Luster Purge.
