Biology

Lilligant is a humanoid Pokémon with plant features. It dons a crimson flower with white-spotted petals onto its head; said bloom has golden filaments with red anther, suggesting a crown. It has dark green, linear leaves under the flower, as well as light green, linear leaves beneath the darker foliage. On the back of its head, one of the light green leaves is approximately as long as its body and mimics hair. Two light green leaves droop loosely from its head. It has a white head and abdomen, and its eyes, which resemble seeds, are a pale red color. It has arms made of dark green, linear leaves and a golden sepal beneath its neck. It is dressed with a huge, light green, tulip-shaped arrangement of leaves. From its back to the bottom of its “dress” are two long, dark green, linear leaves. It also has a golden, sepal-shaped protrusion below its “dress” that resembles feet.

Though Lilligant is famous among celebrities, even senior Trainers and expert gardeners have failed to get the flower on Lilligant’s head to blossom. Despite these attempts, the flowers produced by Lilligant in the wild are believed to be the most beautiful. If Lilligant is ignored or finds a male spouse after it blooms, it will wilt. The flower has a sweet-smelling perfume and is said to have a soothing effect on individuals who are exposed to it. The smell of the flower varies somewhat depending on the soil in which it was grown. The oil produced by Lilligant’s flowers has an exquisite aroma and is quite costly to purchase. It is an uncommon Pokémon found in woodlands. Lilligant is a female-only species that does not have a male equivalent.

Lilligant has a very different appearance in Hisui. Hisuian Lilligant is more compact. It has a white head and body, and the latter is covered in light green leaves, with two little somewhat darker leaves protruding from each side. A six-petaled pink flower with short filaments protruding out from it and dark green leaves below it grows on the left side of its head. This flower’s aroma lifts the spirits of everybody who comes into contact with it. It has bright pink and purple eyes. The hair-like leaves on its head are substantially shorter than on Unovan Lilligant. It also has a tiny sepal around its neck.

Hisuian Lilligant’s arms are green, with its forearms being a lighter green. They are much longer and thinner than Unovan Lilligant’s. It has long, strong legs that are white with a dark pink gradient at the calves. These legs are said to have grown as a consequence of Hisuian Lilligant’s life in the snowy mountains; they enable Hisuian Lilligant to leap exceptionally high and elegantly. Its feet are golden and cover a portion of its legs, like dancing shoes or snow boots.

Because it was one of the ten ancient Pokémon that gained a blessing from Arceus, a particular Hisuian Lilligant is adored in Hisui. In specifically, it is one of the Noble Pokémon who dwells in Crimson Mirelands.

Victory Dance can only be learned by Hisuian Lilligant, the sole known Pokémon.
