Magmar #126

Magmar is a bipedal Pokémon with a scarlet body and yellow flame decorations on its lower half. It has a puckered brown beak, tiny eyes, and two lumps on its forehead, each topped with a yellow flame. Its arms are covered in rigid, crimson scales, and each hand has five clawed fingers. Magmar has yellow shoulders and thighs, and its red feet each have two clawed toes. It is bound about the neck and ankles with black metal shackles. It has a series of crimson spikes along its back and a flame at the tip of its golden tail.

Magmar has a body temperature of over 2,200° Fahrenheit (1,200° Celsius), which gives it an orange glow. Because it dislikes chilly locations, this Pokémon prefers to live in and near active volcanoes, where it was born. This Pokémon has been known to spew searing flames in order to create an optimally heated atmosphere for itself. The Magmar found in Alola are considered to be tougher than those found elsewhere.

Magmar breathes forth tremendous flames from all over its body during combat to scare its opponents and incinerate its surrounds.

Magmar can block Electric-type assaults with super-heated air, as seen in the anime. An outmatched Magmar, on the other hand, will flee rapidly, blending into any nearby flames with its blazing camouflage and rippling glow. Magmar, as described in the Pokémon Adventures manga, is tenacious and will pursue anybody who succeeds to beat it. It can cure its wounds and fatigue by bathing in lava. Magmar has a horrible tendency of mistakenly roasting its prey. Its body is continually on fire. Magmar is feared as one of the numerous fire-starting agents.
