Manectric #310
Biology
Manectric is a quadrupedal canine Pokémon. It has a mostly blue body with a spiky yellow mane on top of its head and yellow tufts of fur on its haunches and around its front hooves. It has a three-pointed mane that stands straight up. It has a jagged upper jaw, crimson eyes, and what seem to be ears on each side of its skull. It has three claws on each of its paws. It has a sharply twisted blue spike-like tail.
Mega Manectric’s golden mane is much bigger than it was before. The main spike on its head has changed, becoming a massive, skewed growth that stretches over its nose and has points on both ends. The other two head spikes are thinner and longer, with little, pointed bulbs in lieu of earholes. The mane now runs the length of Mega Manectric’s body, generating four more spikes. One of these spikes reaches all the way down to the Pokémon’s chest and has points on both ends. The tufts of hair on its haunches have become blue and have become more numerous and thinner. While the golden tufts surrounding its front feet remain, they have been replaced with two short spikes projecting backward. Finally, Mega Manectric bears red claws instead of its prior state’s steeply pointed tail.
Manectric stores energy in its mane before discharging it. This technique generates thunderclouds, which are used in combat. Because lightning strikes in its proximity, it is claimed to have been born from lightning and to build its nest where lightning strikes. It lives in grasslands and savannas and is seldom seen by humans. When it Mega Evolves, its speed becomes explosive, comparable to a lightning bolt. However, its body gets packed with so much energy that Manectric is unable to properly control it all, annoying it.
Evolution family
Manectric is part of a two-member family.
