Biology

Meloetta is a female anthropomorphic Pokémon with musical bar-style streaks in its hair, quarter notes (crotchets) () for its arms and hands, and pupil-less eyes that resemble entire notes (semibreves). It has a gemstone on its brow and a black headgear that seems to be formed like a treble clef and doubles as an attached microphone similar to those worn by singers. Its ovular head seems to be 13 times the height of its body and half the breadth. Meloetta has pale blue eyes and flowing, wavy hair with light blue ovals that mimic full notes in its Aria Forme. It has auburn hair that seems to be styled in a high bun and crimson eyes in its Pirouette Forme. Its midriff and eyes match its hair in any Forme. It is a species with no gender.

Meloetta’s wonderful music and dance, according to Unova artists, inspired countless pieces of art, music, and songs. As a result, the Pokémon became famous among musicians and dancers alike.

Meloetta is the only Pokémon known to be capable of learning the move Relic Song, which enables it to switch between its Aria and Pirouette forms. Meloetta can sing wonderful songs in Aria Forme. Meloetta may execute beautiful dances while in Pirouette Forme. It is a dual-type Normal/Psychic Pokémon in its Aria Forme, and a dual-type Normal/Fighting Pokémon in its Pirouette Forme. After swapped out or when the conflict concludes, it reverts to Aria Forme. Meloetta, like many other Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, has the ability to briefly become invisible.
