Biology
Oricorio is a bird Pokémon that can transform into four distinct forms. The shape it assumes is determined on the kind of nectar it drinks. The beaks of all forms are pale pink, the legs are slender, and the eyes are black with white pupils. The feet feature three front toes and one rear toe, and the beak slopes downward.
Oricorio is coated with red feathers with two lines of black feathers across each of its wings and tail in its Baile Style, which inhabits on Ula'ula Island. Its plumage is reminiscent of a flowery flamenco dress. A white ball sits on the back of its skull, with tiny, spiraling extensions on each side that resemble earrings. It has purple eyelids and a lengthy tail. Baile Style Oricorio is a passionate and powerful dancer who might get enraged if given the improper commands. When it dances, it emits downy fluff that it may ignite to conduct a flaming dance attack.
Oricorio is mostly yellow in Pom-Pom Style and lives on Melemele Island. The majority of its body is light yellow, with a skirt-like band of longer feathers around its waist. It has small white feathers covering its lower body and short stubby tail. Like pom-poms, fluffy balls of darker yellow feathers cover the ends of its wings, while similar, smaller puffs cover its ankles. There is a yellow, v-shaped marking in the middle of its breast, and fan-shaped patterns on the sides of its eyes. Three big, light yellow feathers on either side of its head, capped with brilliant yellow, mimic the marks surrounding its eyes. Pom-Pom Fashion Oricorio's dance generates static electricity in its feathers. Its feathers may be utilized to strike and deliver electric shocks when charged. It will also utilize its dancing to cheer up anyone who are down, but it will also use this as an opportunity to surprise unprepared enemies.
Oricorio has pink feathers in its Pa'u Style and lives on Akala Island. Its primary body is dark pink, and the majority of its feathers are pink in various colors. Each wing has a fan of three feathers: two light pink and one whitish-pink in the middle. On top of its head is a headdress-like arrangement of feathers: a ring of fluffy, light pink feathers with bigger, paler feathers sticking up from the center. A bigger, comparable arrangement of feathers forms a skirt around its waist. Pa'u Fashion Because of its laid-back character, Oricorio might be tough to deal with. It utilizes its dance to concentrate its thoughts and boost its mental ability. The dance is also supposed to be an act of gratitude to its guardian god. It becomes so engrossed in dancing that it occasionally disregards its Trainer's commands.
Oricorio's feathers are mostly purple in Sensu Style, and it lives on Poni Island. It has a fan-shaped crest on top of its head, and the tips of its wings spread into a fan form. Four feathers with pale blue tips lay at the base of its crown. These feathers, which resemble decorative hairsticks, are two on each side. Each eye has tiny, pale blue lines that mimic eyelashes. The margins of its wings, fans, head crest, and long tail are all pale purple with a light blue border on the outside. Sensu Design Oricorio is a cool-headed Pokémon. It invites neighboring spirits into its dance and borrows their force to battle. Its dance transports those who relocated from Kanto back to their hometown.
Oricorio is the only Pokémon known to learn the move Revelation Dance, which changes its type according on Oricorio's style.
