Biology
Pheromosa is a female anthropomorphic cockroach-like Ultra Beast. It’s mostly white and has a slender structure. It has a torso made up of five thin discs that droop slightly downward. Its shoulders are the broadest disc, its hips are the second widest, and its chest and waist are the smallest. Inside the widest disc, where its long, thin neck protrudes, there is a gold ovoid. It also has long, slender limbs and legs with gold joints. It has two golden claws on both its hands and feet. The head of Pheromosa is tiny and semi-flattened, with a golden crown-like structure on top. The crown’s two highest points point to its long, thin antennas, which are white with little gold balls at the tips. Two projections like insect wings are attached to the rear of its skull. The wings are translucent, slope inward slightly, and extend almost to the ground. It has purple eyes with vivid blue pupils that are small and purple.
According to Wicke of the Aether Foundation, Pheromosa’s slender, exquisite body is capable of unexpected bursts of acceleration, reaching speeds of more than 120 mph (200 km/h), something no other known living form has previously achieved. It also emits a disarming pheromone that has been characterized as “before unknown to science” and causes others surrounding to be taken aback by its presence. It has a strong aversion to touching anything, as if it perceives the Pokémon world to be filthy in some way.
