Pidgeotto #017

Pidgeotto is an avian raptor. It has brown feathers covering its body and a cream-colored face, underbelly, and flying feathers. It bears a pinkish-red feather crest on its head as well as black, angular marks behind its black eyes. Its tail is covered in alternating red and yellow feathers with ragged ends. Pidgeotto has pink beak and legs. Two of its toes point forward and one backward. It also has strong, pointed talons that it utilizes to catch prey.

Pidgeotto is a strong flyer capable of transporting prey hundreds of kilometers to its nest. It has excellent eyesight, which aids it in locating favorite prey Pokémon like Exeggcute and Magikarp. It is also seen in the anime preying on Caterpie. Pidgeotto claims a vast area of more than 60 miles (100 kilometers), which it ferociously protects. Its nest is normally in the heart of its territory, and it surrounds it all day, hunting for food and intruders. It is particularly common in temperate woodlands. Feather Dance was Generation III’s trademark move.

The Pokemon Pidgeotto is one of the numerous creatures that may be captured in Pokemon Go.
It may also be developed from Pidgey by feeding it 12 Pidgey Candies.
