Pokémon GO Fest 2022 is a two-day worldwide event held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, and Sunday, June 5, 2022, with an additional Pokémon GO Fest Finale event on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
During the 2022 GO Fest event, the Mythical Pokémon Shaymin – the Gratitude Pokémon – makes its Pokémon GO debut. A unknown Pokémon will make its Pokémon GO debut in five-star raids on the second day of the event.
As with prior GO Fests, the event will include shifting habitats, a slew of unique Unown spawning, a Global Challenge Arena, enhanced Incense encounters, and event-exclusive Special Research quest lines.

Trainers, mark your calendars! This year’s worldwide GO Fest will be a spectacular event, featuring two full days of action followed by a late summer Finale event, according to Niantic.

Pokémon GO Fest 2022 tickets are now on sale for US$14.99, which includes entry to event gaming on both Saturday and Sunday.
Each event day will offer a unique experience, and a spectacular finale event will take place on Saturday, August 27, 2022, in a Pokémon GO Fest first.
Trainers who buy tickets to the worldwide event in June will get a free ticket to the GO Fest Finale event (August event).

- Tickets for the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 will be available in-game for US$14.99 (or the equivalent price tier in your local currency, plus all relevant taxes and fees) until Sunday, June 5, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. local time.
- Tickets for the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 finale event will cost US$10.99 and will be available in-game (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency, plus any applicable taxes and fees).

Customize your Shaymin Special Research
During their Special Research, trainers will have to make two critical decisions:
Difficulty level
Make your event one-of-a-kind! For your Special Research, choose from Relaxed, Standard, or Master difficulty levels. The difficulty level you choose will influence the sticker you get as a reward, but it will have no effect on your Special Research awards.
Gameplay focus
What’s your favorite way to play Pokémon GO? Select your preferred gameplay focus—Catch, Explore, or Battle—and some Special Research assignments may vary as a result.
Please keep in mind that you won’t be able to modify your choices after you’ve made them, so choose wisely!

Nihilego emerges

Nihilego, the Parasite Pokémon, makes its Pokémon GO debut in five-star raids on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time! Nihilego is a Rock- and Poison-type Pokémon.
A life-form from another world, it was dubbed an Ultra Beast and is thought to produce a strong neurotoxin. Try using some Ground-type Pokémon you catch during Pokémon GO Fest to get an advantage in battle!
Investigate the mysterious Ultra Wormholes and Ultra Beasts with the GO Ultra Recon Squad! All Trainers can complete Special Research tasks to learn more about the Ultra Wormholes appearing around the world.

Why is Pikachu wearing the Gracidea flower costume?
It pays homage to the main series games. The Gracidea (Japanese: グラシデアのはな Gracidea Flower) is a new Key Item in Pokémon Platinum. It’s a flower that looks like the blossoms on Shaymin’s head.
It enables Land Forme Shaymin to transform into Sky Forme. During this event, Shaymin will be accessible solely in Land Forme.
