Pumpkaboo is a ghostly Pokémon that comes in four different sizes: small, average, large, and super. A pinkish pumpkin with nubby legs encases its bottom body. A pair of yellow-orange glowing circular holes are carved into the pumpkin. Pumpkaboo’s murky black torso protrudes from the pumpkin’s top. It possesses bright yellow eyes, fangs in its upper jaw, and pointed ears with a little curvature. A long tuft of fur on top of its head coils firmly at the tip. A collar of furry-looking tufts extends over the pumpkin’s edge.
Pumpkaboo awakens after nightfall. The perforations in its body may glow and light the path for nighttime visitors. It is also claimed to transport wandering ghosts to the hereafter by storing them in its body. Its own essence, however, is stuck in this world. The quantity of lost souls remaining and gathering in the region determines Pumpkaboo’s four sizes. Small Pumpkaboo wants to take young souls into the afterlife, and huge Pumpkaboo prefers to take adult spirits. Pumpkaboo has the ability to mesmerize and dominate any human or Pokémon. It does this by emitting light steams from its holes in the pumpkin.
