Biology

Pyroar is a leonine quadruped Pokémon. It has dark brown fur with light brown legs, tail tip, chest, and face. It features a dark brown nose with a rounded snout, round ears with dark brown interiors, brilliant blue eyes, and a dark brown stripe behind each eye. It has longer hair around its thighs and three toes on each paw. The tip of its tail has a tuft of longer hair. A male Pyroar has a massive, primarily red mane with gold streaks that create a design that resembles the Daimonji symbol () and the fire symbol (). A female, on the other hand, has a long, gold and crimson crest-like mane that extends from its forehead. The female’s mane is as long as her whole body, and the light brown on her front legs reaches all the way to her shoulders. The male’s front legs have light brown hair that hardly reaches the elbows.

Pyroar, like real-life lions, live in prides commanded by the male with the greatest mane. The ladies of the pride guard the Litleo cubs. A male Pyroar is normally lethargic, but will defend its buddies even if it means jeopardizing its own health. Pyroar threatens any foe with a scorching breath that exceeds 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit (6,000 degrees Celsius). It enjoys its flesh uncooked, though, and does not utilize its breath on its victim. Noble Roar was Generation VI’s trademark move.
