Quilava #156

Quilava is a mustelid Pokémon with a long, slim body. The upper half of its body has a dark blue-green tint, while the bottom is cream. It has rounded nose, triangular red eyes, and triangular red ears with dark red inside. It has three toes on each of its paws. It has five red patches on its body that may discharge flames: two vertically on its brow and three horizontally on its back.

Quilava turns its back before a confrontation so that its flames face its opponent. It fights with these powerful flames combined with superheated air gusts. Its fur is non-flammable, which protects it from other types of fire. Quilava is uncommon in the wild, however it may sometimes be spotted on grasslands. Quilava fur is thought to be particularly mysterious owing to its fire resistance. Quilava undergoes a significant transformation after being exposed to the strange energy of Mount Coronet in Hisui. It gets the strength of Ghost-types as it develops into Hisuian Typhlosion.
