Metagross[ps2id id=’Metagross’ target=”/]

Metagross Best all around Regice raid counter, takes decreased or neutral damage from most Regice attacks (Earthquake excluded of course), has ample bulk and does a lot of damage very rapidly.
Moltres[ps2id id=’Moltres’ target=”/]

Moltres goes toe to toe with Charizard, and is really the preferable counter vs Earthquake and Focus Blast, since it’s Flying type lessens the damage from both.
Chandelure[ps2id id=’Chandelure’ target=”/]

Chandelure is an incredible Fire-type addition added in Generation V, particularly beneficial against Regice’s Fighting type techniques.
Charizard[ps2id id=’Charizard’ target=”/]

It’s time to take your Blast Burn Charizards from retirement, as this cheap Moltres works wonders against Regice.
Entei[ps2id id=’Entei’ target=”/]

Former finest all around Regice raid counter, also absorbs decreased or neutral damage from most Regice attacks (Earthquake excepted of course), has adequate bulk and does a lot of damage.

Regice movements analysis
While picking counters, we did our best to choose counters that do a big amount of damage and take decreased damage from Regice’s movements. Regice has access to the following moves:
Fast moves Charge moves[ps2id id=’Fast moves Charge moves’ target=”/]
Rock Smash Fighting- Frost Breath Ice \ Lock-On Normal \Focus Blast Fighting
Blizzard Ice – Earthquake Ground \ Regice raids substantially differ in difficulty:
- Blizzard (and Frost Breath Ice) provide decreased damage against Fire counters, making the battle substantially easier on your Revive / Potions hoard.
- Focus Blast may be hazardous, but it doesn’t deliver SE damage to anything you would choose for your squad, save for Tyranitar. But then again, you wouldn’t take a Tyranitar versus an FB Regice, would you?
- Earthquake is incredibly hazardous, since it deals SE versus Fire types and will certainly OHKO any Flareon, or Blaziken you bring to the table.
- The moveset that bothers us is Rock Smash and Earthquake, largely since it’s pretty powerful versus Fire and may lead to more Revive/Potion expenditure
Regice is coming returning to Legendary Raids in Pokémon Go. Fortunately, we here at PokemonGOCentral have everything you need to know to win this duel and add Regice to your lineup. And be sure to check out our Best Pokémon Go accessories, so you can be completely ready for your Pokémon Journey!
Who are the Legendary Titans and Regice in Pokémon Go?[ps2id id=’Who are the Legendary Titans and Regice in Pokémon Go?’ target=”/]
The Legendary Titans are six golem-like Pokémon with a single type each. The first three, Regirock, Regice, and Registeel were initially discovered in the Hoenn area of Gen III. The fourth, Regigigas, didn’t show up until the Sinnoh region in Gen IV, and two more, Regielecki and Regidrago were added in the Crown Tundra DLC for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.
In Pokémon Go, Regice is not a very noteworthy Pokémon. It performs adequately in the Pokémon Go Battle League, but it’s regrettably a tank. While Pokémon with great defense have major usefulness in the main games, Regice is a Legendary and hence cannot be be put in a gym. Still, Regice does have its Shiny version unlocked and may be transferred through Pokémon HOME.
Weather considerations[ps2id id=’Weather considerations’ target=”/]
Knowing what Regice’s weaknesses and strengths are, we can now take a better look at Regice and weather effects on it. We know that Regice gets weather enhanced in snowy weather which for many trainers may be quite hard to come across, but honestly don’t worry – it really isn’t worth waiting for snowy weather to conduct a Regice raid.
Like we saw, Fire types are quite efficient against Regice, thus it is advised you wait till sunny weather to have some additional strength on your side, but be wary if Regice possesses Earthquake Ground.
Cloudy weather is also excellent for strengthening your Fighting types, since many players will merely be putting up a team of Machamp to take on all three of the Regis.

Final notes[ps2id id=’Final notes’ target=”/]
- Take use of Fire types while combating against Regice in sunny weather
- To capture a weather aided Regice, raid during snowy weather
- A level 20, 100 percent IV Regice will be 1764 CP, and weather boosted will be 2205 CP
- Avoid deploying Pokémon that will absorb very effective damage, except if they have a high CP and DPS value
