Regigigas is a gigantic white golem-like Pokémon with seven black circular “eyes” that form a unique pattern. The pattern is Regigigas’ means of expressing its rage; when provoked, its eyes blaze red. The same may be said about the way in which the eyes are arranged. These stones seem to symbolize the first three Legendary titans, with red stones representing Regirock, blue stones representing Regice, and silver stones representing Registeel. Regigigas has lengthy arms with three human-like white fingers and short legs with huge mossy shrubs for feet instead of feet. Regigigas features broad yellow bands on its shoulders and wrists, as well as a yellow sloping area on its chest that looks to represent its head. It has black stripes on its body and moss growing on its back and feet.

Regigigas is an accomplished artisan. It brought to life golems made of inanimate items and elemental energy. Regigigas may also manage these Legendary giants, even if they already belong to another Trainer. It can also withstand severe temperatures, since it can operate with boiling lava (1300-2400 °F) as well as frozen ice (-328 °F). When Regigigas is roused from its sleep, it goes on a rampage and blasts tremendous beams of energy. However, when it is befriended, it becomes peaceful and compassionate, as demonstrated in Pillars of Friendship!. Regigigas’ power, according to Sinnoh folklore, allows it to travel continents.

Regigigas is the only Pokémon known to be capable of learning the move Crush Grip.
