Remoraid #223
Remoraid is a pale blue aquatic Pokémon with saucer-like eyes and four pointed fangs. It has two black stripes on its back that look like the barrel of a handgun. It possesses a single pelvic fin shaped like the trigger of a revolver, two tiny pectoral fins, and a dorsal fin near its mouth shaped like the front sight of a pistol. It also features two caudal fins, the bottom of which resembles the butt of a cannon and the top of which resembles the hammer. Except for the dorsal fin, all of its fins are white.
The ability of Remoraid to spray water jets out of its mouth with extraordinary precision and distance is widely known. It does it by using its abdominal muscles, which it often employs to shoot down prey from the air, such as Burmy. Even if the target is running or flying, the water strike may reach it from over 300 feet (100 meters). As a result, Remoraid is known as the “sniper of the seas.” It can also squirt water to drive itself backward when threatened.
Remoraid like to move in huge groups of its own type or by adhering to Mantine’s fins. It adheres itself using its dorsal fin, which functions as a suction pad. When linked to a Mantine, it consumes anything the Mantine leaves behind while also fighting alongside it. A school of Remoraid is often observed cooperating and traveling with a Mantyke, assisting it in its maturation into a Mantine. Remoraid is a marine Pokémon that travels downstream from rivers, particularly when evolution is close.
