Biology
Scolipede is a centipede-like Pokémon that stands with the front half of its body vertically lifted above the ground. Except for its smooth, dark gray underside, its segmented body is dark magenta. Long, slightly bent horns resembling antennae protrude from its head, as does an identical pair of horns on its back. These horns are adorned with purple bands, and teardrop-shaped rings of the same hue indicate each body segment, one on each side of its body. It has four pairs of short, purple foreclaws on the body segments that comprise its neck, which are used to inject poison. The four rear legs are longer, thicker, and more widely spread. Around the center of each hind leg are curved dark gray stripes.
Scolipede is found in lush woodlands. It is very aggressive and will not give up until it has won. This Pokémon pursues after adversaries at high speeds before unleashing a barrage of horn attacks until it triumphs. It uses the claw’s venomous spikes to grip onto the victim before slamming it into the ground for the lethal poison effect. Centiskorch is Scolipede’s natural predator or prey, depending on who wins the territorial struggle.
