Seaking #119

Biology

Seaking is a swimming Pokémon that is mostly orange and white. It features round, black eyes, protruding pink lips, two short fangs, and a cream-colored horn in the middle of its brow. A female’s horn is smaller than a male’s. The majority of its body is orange, with a white spot behind its mouth and along its underbelly. On its body, it has two broad lines behind each eye, a huge wavy patch on its back, and many speckles towards its tail. It has billowing pectoral fins and tail fins fashioned like butterfly wings that are entirely white mottled with black. Its dorsal fin, on the other hand, is pure white and stiff.

Seaking is a strong swimmer that lives in rivers and streams. It can swim not just against the stream of a river, but also up waterfalls. It becomes thicker and more bright during the fall spawning season. It makes its way upriver, where male Seaking perform elaborate dances to attract females. The female would do the most exquisite dance for the Seaking.

To protect its eggs from water currents, Seaking uses its enormous horn to dig holes in riverbed rocks. For almost a month, a mated couple patrols around their new nest and defends it with their life. Trainers that are preoccupied with Seaking’s horns or dorsal fins fall into two categories. However, the groups are at odds with one another. Waterfall was Generation I’s trademark move.

One of the numerous captureable Pokemon in Pokemon GO is the Seaking.
