Biology

Shroomish is a tiny Pokémon that looks like a mushroom. It has a half-triangle-shaped mouth and beady black eyes. It has a beige upper body with frilled segments along the sides and a little aperture at the top. Its top body has green patches, but its bottom body is totally green. It has tiny, spherical feet, no apparent arms or hands, and no visible arms or hands. When it detects a threat, it shakes its body and spews deadly spores from the top of its head. If breathed, these spores may cause trees and plants to wilt and produce generalized discomfort. Shroomish is a tropical forest dweller. During the day, it hides in the shade behind fallen leaves. It feeds on composted forest soil, which is formed up of fallen, decaying leaves.
