Biology

Spoink is a pig-like gray Pokémon. It features short ears, dark, round eyes, and a huge gray nose. It has very short arms and no rear legs. It moves by bouncing on its spring-like tail. The bouncing serves an important purpose in that it keeps the heart pounding. It continues to bounce even when sleeping. It wears a Clamperl-made pearl on top of its head, which enhances its psychic abilities. Spoink will be debilitated without a pearl and will continually seek larger pearls. Magic Coat was the hallmark move of Generation III. It was shown in the anime to readily confuse other spherical objects for its pearl. It is found in mountainous places. It enjoys eating subterranean mushrooms.
